Sunshine Coast Weather

With over 300 days of sunshine every year the Sunshine Coast lives up to its name. Warm, sunny weather abounds in the 5 months of the year from November to March surrounding summer. The average temperature in summer on the Sunshine Coast is 17 - 28 degrees. While it is still warm over most of winter months it can too cold for a swim... but still perfect for a sunbake on the beach.

The Sunshine Coast has more then 7 hours of sunshine a day. Its easy to see why the Coast revolves around water and the beach. There are dozens of seaside towns and villages all along the Sunshine Coast with out side dining (Alfresco) and some capture excellent water views.

The weather is great for surfers too with the breaks at Alexandra Heads and Mooloolaba being clean and big. In between the surf there a some really safe beaches for families. Caloundra has 2 very good beaches with lots of sand and calmer waters, great for kids.
